  5. I also came across your page by accident. It is wonderful! I recently acquired a Madison Savoy 4408 made in Italy. I was told they are very rare so hope you will add it to your list. It sold new for $372 in 1993/1994.

  6. I am a true Coach lover. I too came across your blog by accident and love it. I buy only vintage Coach bags now, made in the USA. I gave away all my large Coach bags when I began to have arm and shoulder pain (from a neck injury not the bags). I only carry small to medium bags now. I do occasionally buy a non-coach bag, but am usually sorely disappointed! I bought a non-coach bag last year, and took it out of its wrapping and used it ONE day, and the next day the strap fell off. Being a Coach girl, I had a hard time comprehending what I was seeing. LOL! Here is the link to My Coach Bags Pinterest page if you want to take a look! http://www.pinterest.com/kathydowdle/my-coach-bags/

  7. Hi, Melissa! I love your blog and I love what you do. I have 2 Coach bags that pre-datethe 90s and have no official style number but they are also nowhere to be found on Ebay or Etsy, I tried to scour through a bunch of listings to see if any bags represent any of the ones I have and to my disappointment, they do not! Is there any way you can take a look to see if you think you can recognize the two styles? I can provide VERY clear photos and measurements of the 2 bags I have, as well as style comparisons (for instance, one of the bags I have is similar to the Wendie and the Taylor and the Regis but it is NOT any of those!! It is driving me nuts!!) and the second bag I have...well, you will see if you let me email you or perhaps post the pictures here? Please let me know and if you prefer to contact me yourself, you can email me: larisa at NYU dot edu

  8. This blog is too cool! I just purchased a vintage coach #9886 "Avenue Bag", but didn't see it on your list. Now I'm worried that I got a fake bag. Would you happen to know if 9886 exist or not? Thanks!

  19. First of all, this is an awesome collaboration! Thank you to everyone who's added to the content of authenticity. I noticed that you only have a handful of post 2006 serial numbers though. The serial numbers from 2006 to 2020 are 5 digits. I'm having a difficult time trying to find a list of styles and their serial numbers (last 5) for that time frame. Any advice or direction is appreciated!

  20. Wow, this blog post on Coach style numbers and photos is fascinating! I love how you’re diving into the details of each piece and how they reflect Coach’s unique design philosophy. For me, exploring the backstory behind each style number is like uncovering a piece of cultural history. Coach, as a brand, is not just about luxury bags and accessories; it’s a celebration of craftsmanship and design that echoes cultural trends and artistic movements.
